Luxury Vinyl Plank
Definition: Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is a multi-layer vinyl flooring made in plank shapes, with a printed design layer that imitates wood and a clear wear layer on top.
Why it matters
LVP is popular in kitchens, basements and busy family rooms because many products are water resistant and easy to clean. Thickness of the wear layer, the core type and how level the subfloor is all affect how well it holds up.
