Heward Home Improvement (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a family-owned home-services company based in Edgewater, Maryland. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or contact us for an estimate, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We only collect what we need to give you a fair estimate and stay in touch about your project:

- Photos or descriptions of the work you’re requesting
- Communication history (texts, emails, call notes)

- Basic device and browser info (so the site renders correctly)
- Anonymous usage analytics (which pages people visit)
- One-session cookies to keep forms working
What we don’t collect: Social-security numbers, banking info, or anything we don’t need for the job. We’ve never sold your data and we never will.

- To prepare and deliver your free estimate
- To schedule walk-throughs and project work
- To follow up on warranty questions after a project closes

Who we share information with
We share information only with the people who help us do the work:
- Suppliers & subcontractors — only the bare minimum needed to deliver materials or coordinate inspections

We store customer information in password-protected systems with industry-standard encryption. Only Mike, Tyler, and our office manager have access. We never store payment information on our servers — payments are processed through a PCI-compliant third party.
Children’s privacy
Our services are for property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
